J Issac - Welcome To The Planet
- J Issac’s “Welcome To The Planet” has a wanton groove and heartfelt lyrics that are symbolic of the R&B genre. The album opens with “Gift (Intro,)” which has a little girl singing “Happy Birthday” and transitions to “Happy Birthday from Jamecia (Interlude.)” This track has a animated female vocalist, seasoned piano work and what sounds like a gospel choir in the background putting an improved spin on a celebratory song with lines like, “Your daddy called and said this was the day you were born.” “Babe Ez Up” has a laid-back tone that divulges unspoken adoration with lyrics like, “I stepped off the plane and I just can’t explain what happened when I see you.” “Promotion” has a relaxed flow and is about the tough times in a relationship with lines like, “Baby, me and you have been through so many changes…through the pleasure and the pain…sometimes act like devils sometimes angels.” “It’s Just Game” is about duplicity and toying with a woman’s heart with lines like, “I know he told you he was single…I know he told you he wasn’t goin’ to break your heart.” “It’s Your World” has titillating whispering and arousing lyrics like, “Let’s do it girl.” If listeners like stimulating tracks and songs that set the atmosphere then they should give a warm greeting to J Issac’s “Welcome To The Planet.”
