Sim Band Redmond - Each New Day
- An album that listeners can turn on and really hang loose to is how to describe Sim Band Redmond’s “Each New Day.” The first track one could literally picture the guitarist sitting right in front of them as they utter optimistic lyrics such as, “People say don’t live in the past and live each day like its your last. But you should try it in reverse, live each day like its your first.” The second track continues with the guitar and lines like, “Lately I’ve been thinkin’ about nothin’…lately I’m like the fallin’ rain.” The third track has what could be the saxophone and the trumpet followed by drums and percussion for a myriad of instrument play. The fourth track has a slower rhythm with lyrics like, “I could be anyone, anytime, anywhere…I would want just what’s in front of me, nothing more.” The fifth song starts off idle but then does a complete 360 degree turn and kicks in. If you are in the depths of the doldrums and need music to spur you on then Sim Band Redmond’s “Each New Day” will illuminate your spirits and put the spring back in your step.
