Mort Weiss - The B3 and Me
- Mort Weiss’s latest album, "The B3 and Me," is full to the brim with the amazing musical splendor listeners have come to expect from Weiss. Weiss struggled for a long time to make his music be heard in the 50’s, but quickly lost himself in drugs and alcohol. Then in 2001, after over 30 years of not touching his clarinet, Weiss decided to try again.

For "The B3 and Me," as with other albums, Weiss got together with other instrumentalists. Joey DeFrancesco is playing the B3 Hammond Organ, Craig Ebner is on guitar and Bryon Landham is on drums. Weiss, of course, is on the clarinet.

This CD is a beautiful, upbeat mix of fabulous, musical talent. The sound will keep you glued to your seat until the end. There’s no stopping this striking meld of fabulous organ, clarinet, guitar and drums. I would recommend this CD to all music lovers.
