Dan Siegel - Departure
- Jazz musician Dan Siegel, brings his music to life in his newly released album, “Departure.” The upbeat, relaxed atmosphere that Siegel sets for his audience really encourages a “feel good mood.”

Siegel started taking piano lessons at eight-years old and was actually in a band at age twelve. He attended Berklee College of Music in Boston and later went on to the University of Oregon, where he received a degree in composition. His debut album was entitled, “Nite Ride” with guitarist Lee Ritenour. In 1981, he released his second album which made ten weeks in the Top Ten, of Billboard’s Jazz chart.

For a smooth, strong, energetic beat, “Departure” is a definite recommendation. Siegel uses the piano, strings and drums so significantly to the extent that everything blends incredibly well with each other.
