Hall & Oates - Home for Christmas
- “Home for Christmas,” by Hall & Oates, is your typical Christmas album put out by a pop music legend.

There is nothing on this album, and they do not play a Christmas song so differently, that made me excited about this album. There is “O Holy Night” and “The Christmas Song” on the album, but neither version is any different then you could find on your typical Christmas music CD.

Hall & Oates do have some original songs on the album. Many of these songs are about forgiveness or family togetherness – again nothing new from another Christmas album. In fact, sometimes the only thing to make these songs “Christmasy” is the sound of sleigh bells playing in the background.

Big fans of Hall & Oates might want to pick up “Coming Home for Christmas,” but most of the album is music that can be heard elsewhere.
