Disciple - Scars Remain
- Scars Remain, by Disciple, is a heavy rock, Christian-based album that is slowly gaining popularity and will make the listener want to jump into a mosh pit.
The band is similar to that of P.O.D. and uses the Christian base to the songs, but they have a heavy rock sound. Many of the songs are written so if you don’t “google” the band you would have no idea they are a Christian group.
The song, “Game On,” from the album, is being picked up by various sports outlets for highlight packages. The song has been featured in the most recent WWE pay-per-view, on ESPN’s “NFL Today,” and “The Best Damn Sports Show Period.” The song is your typical hard-hitting song, with many sports metaphors, that is perfect for those bone-crushing NFL highlights.
Scars Remain is a solid rock album that will make the listener want to grab the nearest person and throw them around a bit. Fans of Limp Bizkit or P.O.D. will definitely want to check out this album.
