D. Christopher - A Moment of Your Time
- There is little known and/or written about new artist, D. Christopher, but that will soon change after more critics listen to his first release, A Moment of Your Time (Toucan Cove LLC/Universal). The opening title track sets the tone for the entire disc – light R&B and Pop fused together by sultry vocals and a chill vibe. This is great music to throw on during a dinner date in an obvious attempt to seduce your partner.
D. Christopher likes to sing about women, love, and relationships – and lets you know about it way up front. The word "love" appears in the titles of his songs ad nauseum (“Open Up Your Love,” “Now That I Love You,” and “A Woman Needs Love”), but he delivers musically. I only fault the album for including an untitled Christmas tune at the end, which mildly hurts the otherwise silky flow.
Moment is a very enjoyable easy listen, and should be mandatory inventory for the singles crowd. Thumbs way up.
