Pamela Kay Hawkins - Rockin' the Day Away
- Pamela Kay Hawkins' Rockin' the Day Away is a collection of children's songs sung by various artists, whose names include: John Weller, Meredith Lee Easley, and young Joseph Tygart.

Her album has a very child-like feel with a strong story telling voice. The upbeat happy-go-lucky songs, that are aimed for young listeners, include titles such as, "Love-A-Kitty," "Where are the Yeses?" and "Rocking-Horse Blues."

Each song acts as a story, with the artist's voice as the narrator. The story lines are very simple and easy to follow, as they should be, since it's for the younger crowd.

The first 10 songs on the album are sung by the three artists named, and the last 10 are all instrumental versions of the songs.

Not only is this cutesy album fun for children, it also impacts their learning. A coloring book is included with the purchase of the CD, which helps children with reading, as well as to learn english as a second language.
