Olivia Newton-John - Grace and Gratitude
- Grace and Gratitude, by Olivia Newton-John, was released to coincide with the debut of her line of wellness products for women. For those who purchase those items and this album, a synergy will make itself known and create a healthful cocoon. The first track has a noticeably metaphysical bend to it and gets you in the mood to relax. The second track, one could easily meditate to with its ancient quality. Its lyrics even speak of alleviation with lines like, “And if you look in my eyes, you will see souls alike, we are birds.” The third track has what sounds like a flute and guitar fusing together. Its intro is similar to the Celine Dion smash hit from Titanic, “My Heart Will Go On.” The fourth track has classical piano play and lines like, “You move your hand across my back, you trace your hand across my cheek, and all is said though we never speak…to want, I want to be wanted.” Olivia Newton-John’s Grace and Gratitude is an easygoing album that is just the one to turn on when you need to escape from the world’s pressures and let go.
