Enigma - A Posteriori
- Enigma’s latest effort, A Posteriori, is a beguiling assortment of songs that will have Enigma fans delighted and maybe a little bit skeptical. “Eppur Si Muove,” which translates to “And Yet It Does Move,” does just that in a short breadth of time, but the length or lack thereof doesn’t weaken its ability to reach a listener’s soul. “Feel Me Heaven” could be a song in a movie about the future, with its space age appeal. “Dreaming of Andromeda” could be in the next James Bond flick with its kooky buildup. “Dancing With Mephisto” has electronica-like sounds. “Northern Lights” is slower and more erotic then the other tracks. Enigma’s A Posteriori might be a retreat from what Enigma devotees are used to, but if they are willing to give it a try, they might just find a breath of fresh air awaits their ears.
