Monty Are I - Wall of People
- Monty Are I’s debut album, Wall of People, is classic rock at its best, with a mixture of forceful ballads and rock till you drop tracks. “Between the Sheets” has emotive drum play and a wicked buildup to really psych up listeners. “Castle Bound” has synthesizer work and lines like, “Is it love when heroes risk it all?” “Dublin Waltz” has more drum play and synthesizer work. Its lines talk of deceit, with lines like “Count to three and look to see your hand upon her waist.” “Tie Off Your Veins” has tuba work which listeners won’t expect to hear on a rock album. “Anchor and Hope” has piano play and expert drum play and lines like, “Struck with discontent I could not abandon this cuz I have sure learned my lesson.” Monty Are I’s Wall of People is an album that could put the band on the musical map in regards to their powerful sound and hot-blooded lyrics.
