Daniel Rogers - This Side of the Green Arrow
- Daniel Rogers' This Side of the Green Arrow is a mix of sounds made popular by Beck and that by The Who. The whispering singing and interesting instrumentals blend together to create a very unique album.

“The Traveler” is the best song on the album using the Beck sound. The entire song uses quiet instrumentals behind a whispering singing. The basis of the song is the piano, which along with the whispering, seems to give the song a bit of eerily feel.

Now, the problem with Daniel Rogers's album is that I have no idea what it is about. It is one of those albums written where the meaning of the song is not overtly conveyed. I have listened to the album numerous times and like the sound, but still don’t know what it is about.

This Side of the Green Arrow is definitely a challenging album, and definitely worth picking up for any avid Beck fans.
