Lukas Vesely - Peace Prayer
- A mostly instrumental ensemble of jazz tracks makes up Lukas Vesely’s Peace Prayer. The first song has percussion, what sounds like saxophone along with piano all fused together to make a peaceful combination. The second song has drums and cymbals accompanying the piano play. It all makes for a temperate sound. The third song could be a track at the beginning of a movie where the lead character is sauntering along and the viewers are waiting anxiously for what will happen next. The fourth track has saxophone, piano and vocals commingled together to make a calm song about how tortured a man feels about the affection he has for a woman. The passion felt when one falls in love complete with how his friends see just how infatuated he is, with lines like, “You, you’re drivin’ me crazy. What did I do, oh what did I do? My tears for you, they make everything so hazy cloud in the skies, cloud in the skies are blue. How true were the friends who were near me to cheer me believe me they knew. But you were the kind who would hurt me, desert me when I needed you. Yes you, you’re drivin’ me crazy well what did I do, what did I do to you?” Lukas Vesely’s Peace Prayer, is an album that contains sensuous melodies and atonement of ardor with talented instrument play that might make listeners weep at its precision.
