Fred Stride Jazz Orchestra - Forward Motion
- Fred Stride Jazz Orchestra’s Forward Motion has tracks that will polish up your day and put a grin on any listener’s face. The first song has what sounds like saxophone and trumpet and a song one can seize their partner and swing to. The second song has piano, cymbals and a melody that could be heard in a fancy restaurant bar, as dressed up clientele sway to the beat. The third song has drums and mimics bees buzzing with its instrument play. The fourth song has what sounds like trumpet or tuba and could be a song in a movie where a character is skulking around in search of something or someone. The fifth song starts out with low sounding instrument work, then kicks in with yet another song listeners could get down to. Fred Stride Jazz Orchestra’s Forward Motion is a laudable sampling of what an instrumental jazz album should sound like.
