For All The Saints

A soothing mixture of feel good songs about the Supreme Being describes Rock Bottom Choir's For All The Saints. "How Great Thou Art, Pt. 2" has organ, piano and drums all going on at once while the vocalist exalts the greatness of Him, with lines like, "How great art thou, for everything you do? How great are thou? How great art thou? How great art thou, for everything you do?" "Mountain" has more drum and guitar work. Its lyrics speak of a stupendous journey that can be construed as either physical or spiritual, with lines like, "From the mountain here we come down. From the mountain. From the mountain here we come down, from the mountain. From the mountain, here we come down from the mountain to be free. Today is the day that you're gonna save me, and take me away from the voices that won't leave me alone." "Seeds" has acoustic guitar play and is a tale of the growth and consistency of life, how time is infinite and expanding just like nature, with lines like, "Starts with a seed. You put it in the ground and then you pray for the rain. Then it starts to sprout and it grows so high people come from miles. Everybody gets along, that's how you pass it on. The time has come to carry the truth everywhere you go." The title track has drum, cymbal and deep, minatory guitar chords. The intense vibration felt during this song is galvanized by synthesizer work and lines like, "For all the saints, come from the labors rest/We for the world confess. Jesus be forever blessed oh hallelujah hallelujah." If you are looking for a virtuous album that will put your emotions on par with the Almighty One then Rock Bottom Choir's For All The Saints will set your spirits aloft.
