A Pacific Model - Divisions
- A Pacific Model is an alternative band from Dallas, Texas who formed in 2003. Their sound has a similar soft rock feel to such bands as Counting Crows and Coldplay.
Some influences to the Texan band were Radiohead, The Flaming Lips, and Bjork, just to name a few.
The sounds on the album, Divisions, give it a low-key, relaxing vibe; you can get the same felling from one of their inspirations, Radiohead. The vocalist’s voice is almost monotone in some songs, which makes the sound even more soothing.
For a chill night in, A Pacific Model’s, Divisions is a great listen.
