Joel Engle - I Believe In You
- Joel Engle’s I Believe In You is an affirmation to Him in musical form. Each song glorifies Engle’s fervent love of the Lord and his voice strains with pure unequivocal emotion.

The first track has stoic piano play. Engle’s voice towers as he ratifies his admiration to the Almighty, with lyrics like, “From the beginning, you are the word of life. The only one, here in the darkness you are the light that shines. The only one you traded the glory of heaven to reach your hand to me, I believe in you, I believe in you…Jesus you are faithful and true, I believe in you.” Engle’s voice echoes as he expresses his belief in the Creator.

The second track has more piano and possible synthesizer and guitar work. Engle emotes about the beginnings of life with lyrics like, “From the start of time…Creatin’ life what a grand design for every creature here on heaven to live to high. That’s what we were created for.” One can envision Engle thinking about Adam and Eve and theory of evolution as he muses about the dawn of time.

The third track has guitar and drum work. This song has more of a pop feel then the previous songs which might make it appeal to a wider range of listeners. Here, Engle expounds on how he feels the omnipotent one can do no wrong and because of this, Engle’s faith is unwavering, with lyrics like, “Consumed in fire, king of kings, the earth is full of your majesty…The angels sing to you, stand in awe in this place and we are rescued by your grace and we give all our praise to you. You are invincible, you are unshakable, unconceivable. You are invincible.”

The fourth track brings the powerful piano back to the forefront along with guitar. Engle continues to praise the deity with riveting adjectives describing all the Almighty’s wonderful qualities, in lyrics like. “You are high and exalted, you dwell in radiant light. How you shine, how the heavens burn with your glorious splendor day and night. How you shine…Ears have never heard the wonders of your glory and grace, O my G-D.” Engle is illustrating His magnanimous nature with his booming voice.

Joel Engle’s I Believe In You is an album professing his esteem for the Exalted One and Engle’s voice resonates to the pearly gates and beyond.
