David Ball - Heartaches By the Number
- Listening to David Ball's "twangy," southern style voice on his album, Heartaches By the Number, you can hear that his lyrics are almost all about heartaches, perhaps the reason the title is called what it is.
Now, you may listen and think his song sounds like every other sappy country song about losing a woman to a pick-up truck, but some of his lyrics actually have a comical sense to them as well as emotional.
So if you are a country fan, or even if you are not, take a listen to Ball's album, if anything it will put a smile on your face, listening to his quirky songs that he respectfully wrote himself.
