Land of Talk - Applause Cheer Boo Hiss
- Listening to Applause Cheer Boo Hiss' opening song, "Speak to Me Bones," can easily remind the listener of an angry female rocker, such as the notorious "bad ass" Avril Lavigne. The song is fast-paced and loud, and has a lot of female yelling in it.
However, there are some songs that are a little more toned down. The lyrics can be catchy at times, and can really catch the listener's ears, especially as you hear the vocalist blurt out something about girls "pissing their pants."
The album does, however, have some really fun beats. If you are interested in finding a new female band, then definitely check out the Applause. Their music is edgy and defiantly interesting; interesting enough to give at least one listen.
