Austins Bridge - Austins Bridge
- The Christian trio Austins Bridge’s self-titled album is their debut on Daywind Records. Their sound is uplifting as they extol love for the Lord and that He will always be there when His guidance is urgent.

“He Will Carry You” has upbeat guitar work, and the vocalist expresses his conviction that when you are in dire need of assistance from the Lord He will be there to catch you if you fall: “Drowning in the memories of your past mistakes. You’re hoping that the pain will just go away. Trying hard to solve it all on your own but you can’t overcome this battle all alone but He will carry you. When you can’t stand all you gotta do is put it in his hand. His mercy will endure…No matter what you’re going through, He will carry you. He will carry you.” Listeners can hear the band’s absolute surety that He will be there to guide you through anything.

On “Dry Bones” there is superb drum work in the intro followed by acoustic guitar and percussion play. There is an air of country to this track as the vocalist croons about G-D speaking and skeletons rising with such lines as, “Dry bones in the valley. Awake and you shall live. Dry bones in the valley. Awake and you shall live. Dry bones in the valley. Awake and you shall live. Dry bones in the valley. Awake and you shall live. G-D spoke to the prophet Ezekiel and he told him the prophecy to the dry bones in the valley and the bones began to rise.” The imagery here might be disturbing to some, but the bubbly tone will communicate the band’s beliefs.

“His Burden’s Light” has slow acoustic guitar. The vocalist muses about the Lord’s duty and how it shines on us all with lines like, “His burden’s a light...His way is straight. His love is strong. I love to worship and adore Him and sing His praises all day long. His burden’s light. His yoke is easy. His way is straight. His love is strong. I love to worship and adore Hi. Sing His praises all day long…To the risen lamb of G-D His name is high above all others and will forever live on and on.”

Austins Bridge’s self-titled debut is a record that commends the greatness of the Almighty and how one can always count on him. The band’s exalted tone lets listeners know that they mean every word and revel in singing their adoration for Him.
