Lifehouse's new album, "Who We Are," is pretty much like their other albums. It's partly pop, partly rock and very radio-friendly. While most artists develop new sounds and styles (sometimes changing radically), Lifehouse is essentially the same as when I first heard them on "No Name Face." There's nothing really wrong with that, though-?if it's not broken, why fix it?
The first single, "First Time," has gotten a lot of radio play lately. It's upbeat and easy to sing along with. Luckily, on this album, the tracks released as singles aren't the only good songs on the CD.
"Whatever It Takes" is also a great track. It's a sad song about trying to hold a relationship together. It reminds me somewhat of "The Reason" by Hoobstank-?they have similar styles and are very addicting.
"Who We Are" is a great production overall; it's one of those albums that you can listen to all the way through without having to skip anything.
