Gravy Train - All the Sweet Stuff
- Gravy Train’s website should’ve tipped me off that the album would be a crazy, mindless mess. The bright banner, insane pictures and background that reminds me of a Delia’s store is a perfect indication of what you’re in for when you listen to "All the Sweet Stuff."

The music -– which is almost completely electronic –- provides a trippy background for the equally out-there vocals. The mix left me scratching my head. There must be some people out there that like this kind of music because Gravy Train has a decent discography that even includes a DVD.

The group is energetic at least. Every song on this album is fast-paced and follows the same wild, anything-goes format. The songs are anything but predictable, though. Random laser noises and other oddities find their way into the tracks and will keep listeners guessing about what will come next -– and the guesses will usually be wrong.

Gravy Train’s album has no rhyme or reason to it, and that may be why fans like the group. Those that like seriousness and structure in music, though, should stay far away.
