Collective Soul - Afterwards
- The Georgia grown band Collective Soul returns to radio with their newest effort, “Afterwards.” Released thirteen years after their first record, the album shows the resilience and strength of the band. Originally an Atlantic Records artist, Collective Soul launched their own label, El Music Group; “Afterwards” is the second release from the label.

The lead single, “Hollywood,” is a radio friendly pop/rock tune with catchy lyrics and an upbeat tempo. “Adore” offers a nice alternative of a ballad, breaking down the typical pop/rock sound into a vocal driven confession, backed by flowing guitar riffs. “All I Know” is destined to be a radio hit, with catchy hooks and vocal melodies. “Never Here Alone,” another possible single, combines Collective Soul’s classic sound with a contemporary beat. On the whole, the album is a solid effort, sure to be a hit with fans and the charts.
