Peter Wernick - What The
- The title of Peter Wernick's album sums it all up. “What The” is exactly what I thought while listening to this disc. This is a splendid mix of bluegrass and ragtime, with sprinklings of some jazz in-between (see the instrumental “Traveling Home”). It’s not uncommon to hear a banjo, clarinet and xylophone all on the same song, making for a melting pot of music that has a little something for everyone. Wernick's voice acts as another instrument on the record, making for an enjoyable listening experience.
If you’re looking for a little something different, give this CD a listen.
