Supagroup - Fire for Hire
- Supagroup, New Orleans’ hometown punk rock band, releases their latest record, “Fire for Hire.” Brothers Chris and Benji Lee, originally from Alaska, formed their first band, SAP, while attending Tulane University. The project evolved into Supagroup, adding Leif Swift on bass and Michael Bruegen on drums.

“Fire for Hire” combines punk, hard rock and heavy metal into a well organized sound. “Born Into Exile” is straight out of 1980s metal. “Promised Land” takes a more alternative rock approach, but still retains the hard rock traditions of the band. “Long Live Rock” is almost cliche in its take on hard rock anthems, but is still worth a listen. “Fire for Hire” may not make Supagroup super famous, but it will definitely please its fans and make some new ones.
