Big Blue Marble - Natchez
- Big Blue Marble’s “Natchez,” has metaphorical lyrics accompanied by brilliant instrumentation. The male vocalist turns out a performance that will captivate listeners with his breathy timbre and melodic images.

“Tchop That Wood,” has an electronic-like intro along with pulsating guitar and drum work. The male vocalist delivers a track inherent with empowering musings with lines such as, “Don’t know why. Don’t know why. Don’t know why…You gotta make summer last. You gotta make summer last.”

With “Millions of Fishes,” the male singer’s voice is slightly deeper as he goes on about comparing people to schools of aquatic animals. The guitar and drum play is quicker as he emotes lines like, “Millions of fish, where do they go? Deep in the ocean, hiding below…You’re the only one…You give what you want but you keep what you want…And I miss you.” This song is very philosophical in its intonations, which could cause listeners to ponder its real drift.

On “Had Enough,” there is what sounds like keyboard in the intro, which diversifies from the other tracks. The name of the song directly contradicts what the male vocalist is conveying as he sings about the bodily features of his sweetie with such sensuous lines as, “First lips then smile. All the treasures of the world are revealed…Falling down. Bare skin…All the moments of the hour are lost…It’s not too late for you.”

“Natchez,” from Big Blue Marble is a thought-provoking album that will flick on a light in listeners’ minds and maybe allow them to draw their own euphemisms to their lifeblood.
