Green Street
I don't know exactly where Green Street is, but I most definitely want to visit.
Josh Stein has crafted a lovely jazz/blues album entitled "Green Street," and it oozes with all the personality of an after hours jazz club in the heart of the French Quarter.
From superior Organ playing to fantastic guitar plucking, this cd has everything the jazz lover is looking for. Especially in a day when Contemporary Jazz seems to be the only jazz that's played. "Green Street" plays like a backdrop to a tea house in Soho in the late 60's, and that's what so unique about it. It sounds classic and progressive at the same time, proving that Jazz music can truly be timeless.
