Usually when people ask me what good jazz CD's have come out lately, I only recommend reissues of older, classic albums. That may all change, now that I've heard the latest release from the Debbie Poryes Trio, "A Song In Jazz." This release has everything that has been missing from jazz music, that's if you long for the days of Miles and Mingus. Play this CD and transform your home or car into an instant jazz club from the late 60's. You'll have the best seat in the house. The playful piano of "I Hadn't Anyone Till You" is the only voice this song needs. A wonderful addition to a jazz lovers library.
