Van Morrison - Still On Top
- When you pick up a Van Morrison greatest hits CD, you pretty much know what to expect. Still on Top is no exception. Full of the songs you know, this release is the perfect introduction to one of the greatest American songwriters, as well as a nice, neat collection for the seasoned fan. The songs were hand picked by Morrison himself, so it plays more as a “my favorite songs” as opposed to “my greatest hits.” “Gloria,” “Wild Night” and of course “Brown Eyed Girl,” and my personal favorite, “Moondance,” are all here, as well as the oft-covered "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You.” Still On Top is an excellent retrospective of one of the 100 greatest artists of all time.
