Betty Buckley - Quintessence
- Less than a year after releasing “1967”, Betty Buckley is back with a brand new disc. “Quintessence” is full of jazz standards, and her calming voice is accompanied by an outstanding band.

Standouts here are her versions of “Cry Me A River”, “The Man I Used To Love” and her take on a not so vintage but a classic none the less “Get Here”. If you were happy with the “1967” recordings released last year, then prepare to be thrilled with “Quintessence”, a lovely jazz album by an accomplished jazz singer
