Michael Veitch - Painted Heart
- Michael Veitch was a politician before he was a singer, so it’s no wonder a lot of his views come out in the only form of music that has supported outspokenness since its creation: folk. Painted Heart, his new album, is full of emotion, real feelings, heartache and pain, and that’s just the way he prefers it. "My Old Car," my favorite track on the album, has him fondly remembering all the sweet memories from his first set of wheels. Ahh … if my ’78 El Camino could talk. "Straw Man” is another highlight on the disc, a disc that cannot be looked over or missed. Fans of the singer/songwriter ‘70s should definitely seek this one out.
