John Brown Quintet - Terms of Art
- There's only one thing that comes close to finding a good, pure hip-hop album, and that’s finding a good, pure jazz record.

The John Brown Quintet have made such a record. "Terms of Art” serves as a tribute to jazz great Art Blakey, and as a showcase for Brown’s incredible bass playing. They turn the classic “A Night In Tunisia” into a bass-slapping good time, without damaging the legacy of the original. They put their own spins on timeless Blakey tunes like “Moanin” and “Caravan”, all while staying in touch with Blakeys’ original vision.

I highly recommend this cd for all jazz lovers.
