Bitter Sweet - Drama
- Bitter Sweet’s Drama can be defined as an electronica album that is fun and quirky. Some songs sound even a bit cheeky. The synthesizers meld with the piano, strings, percussion, and brass without a flaw. The vocals are soft and mold with the melody of the instruments so it is not as powerful as other types; the goal of Bitter Sweet seems to be the harmony of music, not the greatness of a voice, which, by the way, is rather airy.

“The Bomb” is the theme song for Lipstick Jungle. For those who do not watch the show, like myself, this song has good synthesizers and horns and the chorus is great for a dance, not the kind of dancing at a club to rap music though. “Get What I Want” has some beats and rhythms that make one think of Latin music or a sexy tango, and “A Moment” has its focus on synthesizers, but it ends with the piano, which sounds brilliant.

It’s funky, fun, and good for a dance.
