- Before Daylight Kissing Night - Adam Marsland’s Greatest Hits I had never heard of him. This is because for the past ten years he has been a mainstay in the underground indie music scene, touring and selling CDs without a label. However, this album shows that he has the talent and wit to be more than just an underground icon. The music is mostly indie with touches and hints of grunge and alternative. His songs are full of great melodies and harmonies, interesting riffs, and straightforward, funny, but not in the “lol” way, lyrics. These songs are quirky and clever. It’s difficult not to like Adam Marsland.
