Edgar Winter - Rebel Road
- A leader in the music world, Edgar Winter, brother of Johnny Winter, returns to the music stage with his latest album, Rebel Road. Featuring traditional rock sounds and rhythms, Rebel Road is a hardcore, classic rock album, one that is powerful in its musicality.

Winter opens Rebel Road with title track “Rebel Road.” A traditional rock track, “Rebel Road” is anything but simple. With excellent guitar riffs and vocal duets, “Rebel Road” hits a great beat and is a strong debut track for what is sure to be a strong album.

“Rockin’ the Blues,” a rhythmically simple track driven by guitar riffs and a memorable melody, and “Texas Tornado,” a piano and saxophone-dominated blues-infused rock track, easily stand out on Rebel Road.

Unlike other rock albums that may rely too much on dynamics rather than musicality, Rebel Road is a tribute to musicality. With Winter’s talented vocals, excellent instrumentation and fusing of genres, Rebel Road is classic rock at its best. It is no wonder Winter has been a fixture on the music scene since the 1970s. He is one musician who knows exactly what he’s doing and how to do it.
