Big Head Todd and the Monsters - All the Love You Need Disc 1
- All the Love You Need Disc 1 by Big Head Todd and the Monsters is very difficult to categorize because the tracks on this album consist of sounds that are typical of rock, country rock, blues, with tidbits of soul and folk. In order to really define what genre this CD goes under, I went to their MySpace to see what they categorize themselves as and used that.

The melodies are clean and straightforward; Big Head Todd and the Monsters know what they like and know how to play it well. The lyrics are simple and open. The title track, “All the Love You Need,” begins with deep vocals which add a bedroom feel to the lyrics, which are romantic in a sense and definitely sensual and sexual.

The different genre sounds with every song can either be a good thing or a bad thing; here it seems to be a good thing. There are a few tracks that fans of southern rock will enjoy and a few tracks that country fans will like. It does not seem like the type of album where many will love every single song, but they will like a good-sized handful.
