Delta Spirit - Ode to Sunshine
- Ode to Sunshine, by Delta Spirit, is a mix of folk music with indie rock, with a singer-songwriter quality too. These songs fit a bohemian free spirited person with their pretty melodies and poetic and simple lyrics. Some of the tracks would make a great soundtrack for a road trip, while others are really calming and desirable to listen to when in a mood where you need to be left alone.

“House Built for Two” is my personal favorite on the CD because the piano is gorgeous in this song and can be used for a romantic and/or ballroom dance. “People C’mon,” which is the third track on Ode to Sunshine, seems to be the best introduction to the album because it seems to epitomize the overall sound.

They are an underground band but they have developed quite a large fan base. I think for fans of folk, indie rock, and/or singer-songwriter, this album is worth a listen.
