David Arkenstone - Live!
- David Arkenstone has released a live album containing all of the songs that his fans love. Live! comes with 15 tracks, including “Djunga,” “Falling,” “Breathe,” and “Gypsy Camp.” All of these songs come with a commentary describing how it came about, an instrument, the influence, etc. For example, “Earth Bones” is played by a rare bamboo flute; it is rare because it has perfect pitch. Every single one of these songs is great ambience music and some would even be effective in spas; many will find some of these songs very relaxing. There are some tracks, like “Djunga,” that would be great for Latin ballroom dancing.
The commentaries are interesting because of the information provided for and on each of the songs, but it can become a little annoying because sometimes the commentaries are within the song. Sometimes you just want to hear the song.
