Sketches of a Man
Sketches of a Man, by Dwele, consists of 20 R&B tracks infused with a little Soul and Hip-Hop. Many of the songs are very sensual and some are good for dancing, whether a simple slow dance or a slow grind at a club. Obviously, they can also be used in the bedroom.
There are a few touches on this album that make it worth a listen. One example is the addition of hip-hop style vocals, in "Brandi," against the soft vocals. Another is "Shady," where the lyrics are more straightforward and slightly harsh compared to the music and vocals.
This is better than mediocre, but I wouldn't call it great because some tracks sound similar.
