The Reckoning - self-titled
- The Reckoning’s self-titled album comes with 11 tracks of good guitar riffs and good rock and roll. The vocals are that somewhat harsh sound that is not the pretty, sweet vocals of pop, etc., nor does it have the very low, guttural screams and vocals of a heavy metal band. If I were to compare this band, I would say they are a combination of Bullets and Octane and Avenged Sevenfold, even a little Drowning Pool. Are they original? No. Are they good? Yes. Not everyone will like this band, but fans of hard rock will, and they most likely can be played on the radio on the rock stations that stay away from mainstream pop and, what many rock fans call, corporate rock. Even MTV might give them some air time during one of their not very many rock shows.
