V-Project - New Machine
- V-Project’s New Machine has a real '70s rock feel to it, resurrecting similar sounds to Aerosmith and some great guitar from Zeppelin. It’s a high octane rushed, fuel injected album that really highlights some serious guitar. This '70s strum is updated and modernized, making for a very melodically explosive track.

V-Project provides an oscillating symphony of tracks that all capture the lighter sounds of Van Halen, while maintaining a firm consistency of quality and variety. The band is heavily focused on the guitar as solos burst out and serve as a showstopper. It’s nice to see a retrofitted take on '70s music rather than hear the standard punk rock bands of today.

This gimmick and style will set them apart and be a standout. Why they haven’t gained more exposure is beyond me because V-Project really has something here. It would definitely trick listeners as to what era they’re from. It would definitely wet the appetite of classic rock enthusiasts as they could definitely appreciate it.

They even have a blues-rock feel with the lyrics. V-Project made an excellent selection in choosing a tried and proven method for their own unique sound. I tip my hat off to them. New Machine is amped up and full of energy that swings for the fences. Just judging from the sounds, you can tell that their influences date back to all the greats before us. Their dedication and homage to past greats sets them apart on the indie scene and allows them to be fresh without repetition as they deliver a great feeling form of music.
