- Amanda Henkel's self-titled album, Amanda Henkel EP, is a pleasant album that should appeal to fans of country music. Henkel has a beautiful voice and puts it to use nicely on this short album, consisting of 5 tracks. Henkel's voice is reminiscent of Allison Krause, a notable champion of the country music genre. There is not one specific song that jumps out, though "Break My Stride" has an interesting and edgy pop flavor to it. Henkel may be the next star of country, so keep an eye out for her rising star. Hopefully, next time Henkel releases an album, there will be a greater variety of music and a larger selection.
