- Saint Alva Cartel: The sound is reminiscent of a slightly more punk and indie Smashmouth. Each of the songs are just different enough to showcase the range of the singers behind the band.
"Try To Forget" and "Karma Kill Me Again" are two especially notable and catchy tunes on Saint Alva Cartel's self-titled CD. There is definitely a certain edge and moodiness to the songs, to some degree, and yet the variety of the songs still come off with some sense of fun (and that the singers had fun singing it!) and a touch of lightness. A good new album for fans of alternative and hard rock music, Saint Alva Cartel is something to watch out for.
