Amie Miriello - I Came Around
- Amie Miriello, on her album, I Came Around, demonstrates how far her strong voice can take her. Coupled with beautiful lyrics, Miriello shows her talents are on the rise. Each song has a different rhythmic tempo and overall composition, which shows her fearlessness. She dares to be different and try something new on each track. Her voice has depth and great range as she loses herself in the music.
I Came Around is a solid blend of what makes music great. Amie is amazing as her pop rock sound caters to everyone. I detect a hint of the '90s in her work, which isn’t a bad thing. Amie is a true talent to whom the world needs to be exposed. I don’t think she would be a one hit wonder as her passion would break through any barriers thrown up. Her dedication would seep through and reign supreme.
Amie’s work on I Came Around is structured as an ideal symphonic work of art for the ears. Her voice carries us from one state of mind to the next, swinging us off into different moods as it plays with our emotions in the most perfect of ways.
She stays within the confines of pop and rock, encapsulating the most brilliant and even memorable of musical moments. Amie doesn’t venture too far as she touches on a bit of folk rock, which I think was an honest good choice because it switches things up a bit. It’s not like a bitter taste that will make you squirm, as it’s just the right dose to make I Came Around a musical wonder.
