Jackopierce - Promise of Summer
- What an appropriate title for Jackopierce – Promise of Summer. With their beautiful lyrics and sweet sounding music that’s sheer joy, Jackopierce captures the essence of hope and promising times to come. Their music is very uplifting, to say the least.

Jackopierce’s specialty is folk rock which is nothing but heavenly bliss spreading a coded message far and wide. This hybrid burrows under your skin, traveling through your veins like adrenaline, to pump your heart and ultimately your body into a state of ecstasy. There’s nothing drug induced about Jackopierce, they just make some really great music.

These guys from the heart of Texas have the roots to allow them to dig deep and release an onslaught of folk rock that will not be denied. Jackopierce’s music is pure and certain just as the sun will rise. Promise of Summer is freshly picked and sweeps us away. Jackopierce is composed of a dynamic duo that broke up and rejoined to release this energetic and whimsical compilation. Nothing exceeds tempos that would challenge the speed of light as everything is a quiet medium and slow tempo that lures us in.

The harmonies that cascade out of the acoustic guitars are like a hypnotizing aura that constricts us. However, it doesn’t constrict us and make us submit to the angelic sounds – no sir. Jackopierce’s music is so soft and pleasant that we succumb on our own terms with open arms. It’s nice to see a band blend folk and rock together in a fashion that is quite captivating.
