Anadara - A Little Closer
- Anadara, on her album, A Little Closer, demonstrates the range and arsenal of talent she has in reserves deep inside of her. Anadara is one damn talented musician – plain and simple. The rhythms on this album are rather slow, almost like a gathering storm is approaching and we’re about to take shelter from the hard rains of tumultuous times that are going to rain down. Despite the bitter feel of melancholy and borderline despair, there’s a certain quality of hope that runs through this body of work like a shot of adrenaline that revives us.

Not that A Little Closer will take you on a train of sadness, but all slower paced melodies tend to stay on that track. The lyrics and the angelic voice of Anadara are very uplifting and show the promise of better days to come. Anadara resurrects our souls, bringing us to musical heaven in an ecstatic state of bliss. Her sweet voice paints a picture at the soul and as a result, A Little Closer is a template for reflection of one’s soul and inner works.

An underdog mood is hinted at from my perspective and through Anadara’s talents, our spirits are raised and we’re ready to accept new forthcoming challenges with a wild embrace of ferocity. Anadara is blessed to have a superb backdrop of musicians to further communicate her harmonic theme that could bring people together with its positive rays. Certain tracks are more potent with blocks of faster tempos which really stir the pot up that is the album, A Little Closer.
