Owen Sartori - Another Beautiful Day
- Owen Sartori makes singing seem easy as at certain junctures throughout his album, Another Beautiful Day, he slows down the musical vehicle to a somber cruise where he practically talks directly to us, coated in harmony. He tends to take his time as the backup gradually winds up and down as indicated making for a topsy turvy musical wave. Owen’s rock outfit is a comparable blend between originality and a voice that seems reminiscent of past, distinct, vocalized apparatuses that release one’s talented lyrics. His voice seems rather familiar, but his style seems unfamiliar in the sense that it’s tough to pinpoint.
There’s a strong sense of sincerity at the heart of his work. This makes him a strong craftsman as his work speaks volumes. It’s a combination of stellar balanced and inspiring instrumentals with witty lyrics that provide tight, irregular shaped windows to his soul. The songwriting is very unique as it can be self deprecating and not fully embrace the standard the typical musicians exclaim on tracks. Owen’s range might be questionable as it’s humble and not fully let loose, but the band itself can change melodies on a dime with gradual build and exceptional rifting tunes.
Another Beautiful Day is a steady listen that is heartfelt and transfers chilling vibes. Owen’s music is witty and cool, making for a great mix that is both familiar and unfamiliar. He drops a bit of mystery that disperses throughout to keep you guessing. Owen Sartori crafts a series of great recordings that are show stopping melodies and killer hooks.
