Faith Hill - Joy to the World
- Faith Hill releases her first holiday themed album to bring in the festivities with Joy to the World, where we behold beautiful renditions of ten traditional songs. Joy to the World definitely rings in the joy and faith that goes with the holiday season as one of the most celebrated American musicians does her take on the classics by adding her charm. The ballads feature a wide array of assortments to give each song a more classic and boomingly powerful separation as it’s complete with horns, strings, percussions and even chapel or gospel choirs. The latter really gives these holiday goodies passion as Faith Hill’s angelic voice echoes with pizzazz.
All the tracks are recognizable and it’s refreshing to hear a musician of such distinction bellow out these tunes with conviction and put her own spin on them with the support of diverse auxiliary popping flared shots out of the shadows. Faith’s superstar status will attract the crowd of merry listeners who want to get into the holiday spirit. She does them justice as an ethical and talented musician as she displays a tender wholesomeness with each breath.
Joy to the World is warm and inviting as it captures the true holiday spirit. It’ll probably make you shake a bit with the celebratory themes embroidered into the holiday quilt that wraps this bundle of joy. It’s a warm and fuzzy album that lets the Christmas trickle out. She doesn’t change up the carols in a way that would make them unrecognizable. Listen to this when there’s a chill in the air and the white of snow covers everything.
