No Looking Back
For those who may have missed it, a great album was released earlier this summer. No Looking Back, by Damita, is just the thing to put in the CD player (or really nowadays, the computer with speakers) on one of these cold, late fall days, to get the heat back up. The young R&B/pop/soul/urban singer's vocal work should appeal equally to those who enjoy bubblegum pop and those looking for something edgier, without that much actual edge. With a smooth and flowing voice, like a more confident Hilary Duff (a good thing for tweens and teens looking for new music), Damita leaves little wanting.
From the tween-beat-friendly "Don't Leave Me Lonely" to the faster, pop beat "No Looking Back (Pop Gospel Mix)," there is a good variety of selections available to different music fans.
