Brent Gunter - Andalucia
- For those looking to sit back and listen to a very talented musician play guitar, Brent Gunter's Andalucia is certainly worth looking into. Partly reminiscent of gentle flamenco music, part Eagles, without Don Henley's vocals, the tracks on Andalucia are quite pleasant for the senses, especially when one is trying to relax. A rich and exotic flavor carried throughout, listening to Gunter perform such tunes as "Villa de Amor," "Secret of the Tower" (the best song on this album) and "Moorish Grove" is like listening to poetry. It is rather incredible the way in which guitar strings can evoke such exotic visions of faraway lands and romantic landscapes, and yet, the strumming heard in Andalucia is quite capable of such a feat.
